Soulseek is a peer-to-peer (P2P) file-sharing network and application. The term Soulseek might refer to (1) one of the two networks, or (2) one of the three official user client interfaces. Soulseek is used mostly to exchange music, although users are able to share a variety of files. I assume you are using the official client (SoulseekQt). Do you have the option of right-click or click-hold on the search results? It should give you a context menu to download the file or its containing folder (if you choose the latter, it will give you another dialog where you can unselect any files you don't want).
